About Us

Friends of Mali -Ireland has three main roles:-

 In Mali,We support projects which promote sustainable, long-term community-based development in one of the world's poorest countries. Working closely with the communities involved, & largely guided by the
  priorites set by them, our aim is to enable familes and
  communities to thrive in the place they call home.
We also support two small educational / vocational projects in Mopti.
In Ireland ,We provide a forum for people from Mali, who
  are visiting or living in Ireland, to get in contact
  with each other and also to meet other people
  in Ireland who know / love Mali.
  All funds received go directly towards the
  projects we support in Mali. None of us
  gets a salary or pay in this work.
  The Irish events are self-financing.
